Beyond Research

Outside academia, I find expression, creativity, and connection through cinema, acting, and directing. Storytelling allows me to appreciate different perspectives, explore human emotions, and engage with narratives that resonate across cultures and time.

I share these cinematic journeys and my own creative explorations on my Instagram page @the.cinema.scipted, where I celebrate the magic of cinema from my personal perspective — not reviews, but reflections on the emotions and ideas films leave behind.

I also had the opportunity to contribute to the independent film Nukkad Natak (2023), where I appeared in a small acting role and contributed to parts of the creative writing process. Working on the film was a collaborative experience that deepened my appreciation for storytelling and performance.
